Thank you to those who were able to attend the Sacred Meadow Circle Virtual Gathering with the suggested topic of discussion about Sacred Spaces.

We shared different experiences and methods for creating sacred spaces, including the use of tools, nature connections, and spiritual entities, while it was explained about Wiccan practices and historical context.

Sacred space was described as creating a mindset or environment that allows for spiritual connection, whether through meditation, ritual, or nature. The group also discussed the importance of intention in magickal practices and the value of sharing different perspectives and experiences, even if they don't align with everyone's beliefs.  The Wiccan practice of casting a sacred circle, which involves invoking the elements of earth, air, fire, and water at the four directions, is often used to create a protected space for ritual work.

Practitioners can use various tools like wands or salt to mark the circle's boundaries, though the circle itself is more about intention setting and mental programming than physical barriers. Experiences were shared about creating a sacred space in small areas using sigils and ash, and the group discussed how intention is more important than tools..

The group also discussed their interpretations and practices of sacred spaces. Bryan emphasized that creating a sacred space is a human instinct, involving intention, intuition, and personal definition.

Participants shared their unique methods, including one's connection to nature, another's belief in creating spaces wherever she is, another participant described their use of rose plants to make his boundary ash, and a concept was shared of a portable sacred space protected by spirit animals.

It was a fascinating exploration of the different perspectives of individual practitioners in the craft.
