The discussion emphasized the importance of shadow work and remaining objective when receiving messages.   

Mediumship practitioners are responsible for the emotional impact of their messages and the need to trust their instincts when delivering readings.   Bryan explained the historical context of witchcraft laws in Canada, where he lives, and their evolution into fraudulent practices laws, highlighting the need for regulation in the field of mediumship.

He also shared insights on the qualifications required for professional mediumship, such as experience, ordination, qualified for spiritual advisement, and suggested that attendees research and verify the credentials of practitioners before seeking readings.

The conversation ended with updates about upcoming events, the growth of the SMC online community, and plans for future discussions about seasonal celebrations and spiritual practices.
