Sacred Meadow Circle Virtual Gathering Discussion Summary:

Thank you to those who were able to attend the Sacred Meadow Circle Virtual Gathering with the suggested topic of discussion about Describing Curses.

The group discussed various aspects of curses, including their definitions, effects, and methods of protection. Bryan explained that curses fall under malefic magick and can be unintentional or intentional, with the latter requiring ill intention and specific ritual components. He emphasized the importance of understanding the ramifications of performing curses and suggested using positive intentions instead of negative ones. The group also explored how curses can extend beyond one lifetime through generational curses or past life karma.

Protection methods discussed included energy shielding, wearing amulets, using warding charms, and performing cleansing rituals. The conversation concluded with plans to discuss the power of words and witch names in future sessions.  We also discussed various cleansing and protection methods, including using lemons, salt, and essential oils. Bryan shared his experience with a cinnamon broom and explained the protective properties of various substances.

The conversation then shifted to curses, with personal experiences being shared of unintentionally cursing oneself. The group explored how negative self-talk and affirmations can have similar effects to curses, both positive and negative. Bryan concluded by sharing a humorous story about his son accidentally casting a curse that closed his school.   Bryan offered insights on the challenges of removing curses from others and suggested one way by using crystal grids for positive intentions.  Different types of witches were explained, including those who actively practice magic, aesthetic witches, and those who don't actually practice witchcraft but pose as witches. The conversation touched on the overlap between witchcraft and other spiritual practices, such as Yogic traditions and Indigenous beliefs, and how most people who think they are cursed are usually doing it to themselves by believing that they are cursed.

The best ways in which to protect yourself from negative influences is to empower free will by building on self-confidence.
